Timeframe | The Hogwarts portion of the board, denoted by HP, takes places in the present, so it focuses on Hogwarts students, staff, and Professors. The Magical World portion, denoted by MW, takes place seven years into the future relative to the Hogwarts portion, and focuses on wizarding folk in London and the rest of the world.
Options | You can register several combinations of characters.- just a student at Hogwarts
- a student at Hogwarts & and older version at Magical World
- a student at Hogwarts & a different character at Magical World
- just a character at Magical World
Registering | Please fill out the profile according to your desired character; if you wish to play an aged version of a student, fill out the profile for the Hogwarts version first. You can fill out a separate profile for the aged version in Magical World later. If your character might be suitable as the Head of a Department or even Minister of Magic, please check the Magical World Registry for vacant positions.
Modifications | As we are a community in search of particular qualities in characters, most players will be asked to modify their profiles. It may help to review the Character Creation thread as a guide. Do not take it personally if you're asked to change your character, as we're seeking the most realistic roleplaying experience.
Usergroups | After all necessary changes, the Admin will change the user's usergroup to reflect their status as a student or occupation. Characters who are students at Hogwarts and age later at Magical World will retain their House usergroup.
